Empório 1789
Empório1789 was created to celebrate the culture of Minas Gerais through a visual identity that revives the tradition of old general stores and the tropeiros, emblematic figures in the history and literature of Minas Gerais. The goal was to highlight this local identity in a shopping mall environment by using a visual identity that tells the story of the Minas Gerais traveler and their connection to simplicity and authenticity. The graphic design embraced cultural symbols and earthy tones, resulting in a visual identity that balances the modernity of the shopping space with the rich tradition of Minas Gerais, offering an authentic visual and cultural experience.
